The power of small things

Social Coin is a tool of social transformation that can be applied to any type of community: from a small family business to a multinational or city.

The power of small things show that changes are possible, it simply has to do with establishing new routines in our daily lives and it becomes a habit over time.

“Watch your thoughts for they become words. Watch your words for they become actions. Watch your actions for they become habits. Watch your habits for they become your character. And watch your character for it becomes your destiny”

Mahatma Gandhi

Currently, many organizations see innovation as an essential if they are to remain attractive to talent. However, they fail to implement changes because they forget that to change a culture you need to create new habits.

Social Coin is a platform that can be used to establish and spread these habits, making more and more people participate in it, inviting them through social networks or wiping them with a social Coin. The Social Coins are biodegradable coins with a seed inside, so it can be planted to grow a plant.

For example, the company XYZ that wants to implement sustainability in their company, creates a challenge on the platform with this motto: Cultivating sustainability. First it invites 50 employees that they believe that can be influencers within the organization, give a coin to each and then they begin to explain how they are cultivating sustainability within your organization and sharing their actions on the platform.

At the same time, these 50 people invite others to participate and pass their coins creating sustainability chains.

When the challenge is over, all participants are invited to plant the Social Coins and share their experiences.

In addition to sustainability, we have other complementary programs dedicated to transforming the culture of the organization based on which, according to the study 2015 Employee Engagement Landscape Study conducted by Pricewaterhouse Coopers, are the main areas that impact the Employee Engagement.

Only 24% of the organizations surveyed for a study by Deloitte believes that it has ‘highly motivated’ employees.

“Thanks to The Social Coin, we have increased the participation of our employees by 100%”
